Ive been given a different set of instruction everytime Ive called or come in for an appointment. Even if it's the same lady answering the phone and talking to me in my appointment. It's made for incredibly unnecessary visits and wasted time. I am two weeks from giving birth and have been to this office three times (and even more calls to this place) in the last month trying to get all the documents I need/ scheduling appointments only for the lady to not put them into the system. Cherry on top is the unwarranted attitude because Im young and of a different race. Had to bring my grandma with me and the same snarky, face making lady ive delt with multiple times, on call or in person, is suddenly all smiles and jokes but only when my grandma is talking. Make sure you call and confirm your appointment dates or you'll be screwed.

They will still let people ahead of you even if you follow the rule of walking in. Even if you come in early. Even if you're the first name on the list. You will be waiting forever so prepare to be inconvenienced. I have been waiting an hour so far. Several people walked in after me but got called right in before me. I have an Emergency situation too. It's hard to keep composure when your insurance is already not accepted everywhere in a nearby radius.

5-6-26 was a great day for me. I was going through the worst tooth pains since Saturday 5-2-26. I went to bayfront hospital and they prescribed me with antibiotics. The antibiotics reduce the pain but still I was in pain daily. I missed 3 days from work it was the worst seems like nothing was working. My mom and I went to the health department in St. Petersburg early around 8am. We talked to the lady at the front desk but once my mom heard they have to examine first and it’s not guaranteed they will pull my tooth. My mom said never mind and she going to another place. Well no luck finding another dental office plus they were crazy expensive especially if you don’t have insurance. I told my mom we will go back to health department and we went back to the front desk. We let her know we are back and she said it’s one doctor so, not sure if she’s going to pull but we went ahead and paid for everything but had to come back for the 1pm appointment. I got back at 1pm I was one of the first ones to be called to the back. I was nervous didn’t have my tooth pulled in awhile. The staff and the doctor were very nice. They took my X-rays and saw the tooth that was infected. The doctor said s

Today was my very first day visiting primary care. As a new patient with limited mobility using a cane, the amount of walking distance from the door to the primary care office, I can only imagine how painful it must be. I was in pain by the time I got to the check in window my back was killing me. It felt so cold not as welcoming as I have experienced in Hillsborough County. My check in was okay, after vital signs with Benfa, I was placed in a examination room until the doctor came and got me. It was just weird and not welcoming. So this African American man comes to get me, I was so confused because he looked like he was a construction worker with a gray T-shirt and black khaki pants. I saw no white coat, no name tag showing he was a doctor. I felt weird. I really did not like that there was no formal greeting handshake or welcome as a new patient. Almost every question I had about continuing my specialist care, pain management injections, Immunology injections, and other medications crucial to my health his response was " the program doesn't cover that" no alternatives, no referral, nothing! It made me down in spirit and uncomfortable. I will speak with my case manager about this

The staff working between 2:00–3:02 PM today were extremely unprofessional. A client was openly laughed at for arriving early to her appointment, and it was very uncomfortable to witness. No one knows what personal circumstances someone is dealing with, and showing up early should never make anyone the subject of jokes. Many of us make a real effort just to attend our appointments. I arrived early because I secured transportation and needed to make sure I could get home safely. Instead of being treated with understanding, there was giggling and dismissive behavior. It felt tacky and disrespectful.Healthcare settings should be safe and supportive, not humiliating. I hope management addresses this so no other patient feels their dignity compromised Update- Darlene is awesome she definitely made me feel slightly better. 🫢🏾 this location need more Darlene’s
